The Janssen Process Company, distributors of patented technologies for structurally renovating sewer laterals, has entered into a technical support agreement with New Jersey-based Envirosight.

Under the agreement, Janssen’s licensed contractors will receive technical support and training through Envirosight’s national network of service partners.

In addition, we feel there are some product development possibilities that will expand our offerings.”

The introduction of the Janssen technology coincides with a rapidly growing trend in the industry. More and more engineers and operations managers are requiring damaged service laterals be specified along with mainline and manhole rehabilitation projects. The Janssen technology addresses these concerns by renovating damaged and leaking lateral connections at the main using patented delivery systems for the injection of silica-based resins to structurally re-connect the lateral to the mainline. The Janssen Process Company is in the process of licensing specialty utility contractors across the United States.
